Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love for learning while ensuring each child's developmental needs are met. Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote literacy, math, social skills, and emotional development
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging good behavior among children
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and learning
• Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness
• Provide attentive care to children, including toddler care and supporting children with special needs or disabilities
• Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to education
• Support curriculum development efforts by contributing ideas aligned with Montessori or other educational philosophies

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
• Familiarity with special education strategies and working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to assist in lesson planning for literacy education, math activities, and behavior management strategies
• Experience in classroom experience or childcare roles demonstrating responsibility and patience
• Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

This position is from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.
