Property Accountant

Are you a property accounting professional who enjoys owning the numbers and supporting a portfolio of real estate assets? This is an opportunity with our client, and you’ll have the opportunity to join a stable organization while playing a key role in financial reporting, cash management, and day-to-day accounting operations for multiple properties. This position offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals while gaining exposure to a variety of accounting responsibilities within the real estate industry. What You'll Do Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for a portfolio of properties Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash balances Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Monitor property cash flow and help ensure adequate funding for operational needs Process payments through checks and wire transfers Prepare invoices and support intercompany transactions Partner with property management teams and clients to address accounting questions and reporting needs Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with established procedures and controls What They’re Looking For 2+ years of Yardi experience strongly preferred Experience with property accounting, including A/P and A/R responsibilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent property accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Strong communication and customer service skills Fully onsite position Business casual to casual office environment Comprehensive benefits package available If you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, build upon your property accounting expertise, and join a team that values accuracy, accountability, and collaboration, we'd love to connect with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lutz
