Unit Summary:

The Surgery Day Care RN is responsible for pre-op of patients, starting IV's, assisting anesthesia with blocks, setting up a-lines and completing assessments on day of surgery. Also responsible for post-op of patients and discharging them home from PACU and IR.

Experience with all patient populations is very helpful, including pediatric patients. Strong medical surgical background is a must.

Hours: Per Diem

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospital setting is preferred
• Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing are required
• ASN Required, BSN is strongly preferred
• BLS required
