Order Picker - Princeton, IL
Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: 18.00/hour Express Employment is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Order Picker for a less labor‑intensive position within a fast‑paced distribution environment. This role focuses on accuracy, equipment safety, and steady workflow rather than heavy physical labor. Position Overview The Order Picker is responsible for selecting product and placing it onto a conveyor system to be routed to the loading dock. This role uses an electric pallet jack to transport product to be designated holding areas and requires consistent attention to safety and accuracy. Key Responsibilities- Operate an electric pallet jack to move product safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and complete inspection sheets to ensure safe operation
- Locate materials using a voice headset system or printed pick tickets
- Select the correct quantity of product from storage locations
- Place picked items onto the conveyor belt for processing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
