A warm, faith-centered family is relocating to the stunning Alys Beach development on 30A and is seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to grow with them in their next chapter. This is a beautiful opportunity for a grounded, joyful caregiver who thrives in a calm, structured home and shares a genuine love of the outdoors, intentional parenting, and meaningful connection with the children in their care.

The family has two girls: a spirited 5-year-old who will begin school in mid-August, and a sweet youngest who will be 11 to 12 months old at the time of start. While the day-to-day rhythm will center primarily around the youngest once school begins, this is very much a position for both children. The family is looking for a nanny who is equally comfortable with both girls and able to juggle both schedules with ease, including school breaks, summers, travel, and overnights. That flexibility and genuine investment in both children is essential.

The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, approximately 9:00am to 4:30pm, with Friday as a half day, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week. Occasional weekend date nights are also part of the role. The target start date is early to mid-August, with some flexibility for the right candidate.

Life on 30A is active, walkable, and full of possibility. The family spends time at the beach and pool, rides bikes, and embraces the outdoors as part of their everyday rhythm. The ideal candidate will match that energy with ease, someone who is physically active, genuinely enthusiastic about outdoor adventures, and able to keep up with two young children without missing a beat. Equally important is the ability to bring calm to the home. The family's current nanny has been a peaceful, steady presence, and they are looking for someone who embodies that same grounded quality: not easily flustered, emotionally regulated, and able to help the children co-regulate in return.

This family's parenting philosophy is thoughtful and intentional. They do not raise their voices, do not use time-outs, and prioritize connection before correction. They validate feelings, name emotions, follow natural consequences, and approach discipline with playfulness and warmth. A candidate who is familiar with these principles and can carry them consistently throughout the day will fit beautifully here. A Montessori background or certification is a significant bonus and will absolutely elevate a candidate's profile with this family.

Faith is central to this household. The family is Christian and incorporates prayer and conversation about their faith naturally into daily life with their children. They are looking for a candidate who is genuinely comfortable in a faith-based home environment and can engage with that aspect of their family culture authentically and warmly.

In addition to primary childcare, the role includes light household support: helping keep the kitchen tidy, washing bottle parts, managing children's laundry, keeping toys organized, and light meal prep. Mom is detail-oriented and runs a structured home, and she is looking for a nanny who shares that sensibility and can be a true partner in maintaining the order and calm she has built. Infant experience and comfort with bottle feeding are essential.

The family travels and would love a nanny who is excited to join them. They spend approximately one month each summer in Aspen and would want their nanny along, and occasional overnight stays for parent getaways are also part of the role. A valid passport is preferred. There are no pets in the home and no vaccination requirements.

This position offers $30 to $35 gross per hour depending on experience, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate, 10 PTO days, and 5 sick days. Start date is early September!
