Health savings account, Flexible spending accounts, Life insurance and Retirement plan are also available.We are seeking an IT Project Manager to assist our Fortune 100 client onsite in downtown Houston with the following:A Test Automation Project – To manage the project (i.e. scope, schedule, budget, vendors, assigned team member in the business and IT) in the implementation of a new system (Opkey) that will enable automated tested for the Oracle system (i.e., HCMS, Finance, EAM, iSupplier, iProcurement, OLM, Inventory). Note: A vendor will be engaged. A large testing initiative will be required. The process to maintain the test repository should be defined.Train a junior Project Coordinator – An existing team member for a custom development project has transitioned into the role of project coordinator. The area of responsibility is for the junior project coordinator is focused purely on the business, supporting with task management, end user documentation, demonstrations to external parties, UAT preparation with internal and external parties, training for all users, and go-live. The candidate filling this job would need to quickly learn the approach of the PMO and mentor the junior project coordinator in her daily tasks.Candidate must have:Oracle Applications implementation backgroundOracle Test Automation project backgroundHands on support (i.e., assisting the business with test script review/creation, end user training)Prior experience training/mentor a junior coordinator or PMSenior executive level communication skillsBudget ManagementVendor ManagementCoordination of resources that are not completely dedicatedExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsNice to have:Any Oracle Opkey experience specializing, AI-powered platform designed to automate and optimize the management, testing, and deployment of Oracle enterprise applications including Oracle Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite.PMP certificationTOP DAILY PRIORITIES (what will this PM be specifically tasked with):Coordinating with the Oracle application IT groups and vendor to ensure decisions are being reached and issues resolved.Creating and managing the schedule, project lists (action items, issues, key decisions, etc.), etc.Complete first level budget review, monthly/quarterly accruals, and the support of any purchase ordersSchedule: Mon-Thurs; Friday 1/2 day30-minute initial MS Teams video screen1 hour on-site, panel of PMO, IT management and possibly business (if applicable).Self-relocate would depend on the timeframe of the relocation. Preference given to local candidates.Client is 100% in the office.General Project Manager Responsibilities:The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and overseeing the delivery of software and technology projects while following the established Enterprise Products IT project management methodology. The Project Manager will support these job functions:Project Planning & ExecutionLead technical projects from initiation through implementation, including RFP development, vendor selection, proof of concept, requirements gathering, design, development/configuration, testing, integration, data conversion, user acceptance, go-live, and project close.Manage projects across diverse technology domains such as enterprise applications, infrastructure upgrades, data platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and IT support operations.Coordinate and oversee the utilization of shared resources across multiple projects, ensuring effective allocation and prioritization requirements are metDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, secure and organize resources, coordinate project activities, monitor budgets, assess dependencies, and manage project issues.Monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.Assess project dependencies, risks, budget constraints, and resource conflicts to ensure successful implementation, including contingency planning.Support continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tools.IT Leadership & Technical Alignment with the BusinessEnsure all team members are aligned on the business requirements, design documents, and any other technical requirements.
