- Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance
- Maintain and support both existing and newly implemented systems
- Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities
- Collaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutions
- Deliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practices
- Troubleshoot if necessary, processes and/or systems
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer's procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.
- Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- This person has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized. This person is a key contributor to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.
- This person will ensure that all production systems meet safety requirements
- Assist other areas as requested.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Some college in related field is preferred
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and production teams
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Programming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus
