The Product Support Specialist specializing in Configuration Management organizes schedules and manages flow of work within or between organizational units or businesses. Reviews master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and adjusts schedule according to projects. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation and operation of enterprise PLM systems for U.S. Department of Defense customers. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience working in a similar capacity on any large enterprise system implementation/integration project specific to Configuration Management with general knowledge of the 12 elements of Product Support. Duties & Responsibilities Follow Configuration Management Plans and Implementation Strategy. Follow baseline control processes and define release readiness criteria. Perform Configuration Management activities ensuring configuration baselines and documentation remain current and accurate. Coordinate configuration change implementation among engineering, logistics, supply, and program management stakeholders. Maintain configuration status accounting and ensured approved changes are reflected in technical and logistics data. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Currently hold an active U.S. security clearance (or able to obtain one). Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in Configuration Management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint. Proficiency in Windchill or Teamcenter is desired. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Clearance Requirements Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
