Restorative Aide

A Restorative Aide (CNA required) works in a skilled nursing facility to help residents regain independence and improve quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with restorative nursing programs and exercises
• Encourage mobility, strength, balance, and independence with daily activities
• Support walking, range-of-motion, transfer, and positioning programs
• Document resident progress and report changes to nursing staff
• Collaborate with therapy and nursing departments
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident dignity and independence

Preferred Skills:

• Previous long-term care or restorative experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
