Truck Driver

Overview GLE Scrap Metal is seeking a full-time recycling driver to assist with collection services to ensure that metals are collected and transported in an appropriate manner. The truck driver position is responsible for collection services in order to ensure that our customers’ expectations are met by transporting various materials back to our recycling facilities. Locations: Casselberry, FL; Holly Hill, FL; Opa-locka, FL; Warren, MI; Melvindale, MI. Responsibilities Operates commercial trucks Performs required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and provides required reports Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations Maintains all required certifications required by DOT Maintains and protects all property Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles Fuels truck at the end of each workday Truck wash Communicates effectively with management, dispatch and all divisional employees Requirements Have a valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license Driving at least 1 year Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Skills Good attendance and positive attitude Being a safe, responsible employee Ability to learn and understand runs Learn and use E logs for tracking Communication with dispatch Respectful and professional communication to customers Know, understand, and follow company policy Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr GLE Scrap Metal
