Join our team for a 13-week contract working as a Dialysis Registered Nurse in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role involves providing expert care in an acute hemodialysis unit, with a focus on patients with complex renal conditions such as end-stage renal disease, transplant rejection, and acute kidney injuries. You'll be working a 12-hour day shift, 3 days a week, with responsibilities including managing hemodialysis treatments, supporting peritoneal dialysis when census allows, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Staff may be required to work during emergencies or catastrophic events, including storm or disaster response. Proper certifications are essential—BLS is required, with ACLS and CNN or CDN preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of dialysis experience.
