Responsibilities Provide specialized care: treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes. Administer medication with expertise: take charge of administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety. Thorough documentation: document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records. Empower patients and families: educate patients and families on the disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.
