About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Profession: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RDMS in ABD & OB Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Pediatric experience, especially with neonatal heads - OB/Gyn experience Description: The position is for an ultrasound tech/sonographer. The ultrasound department serves a diverse patient population. Candidates should be able to work independently and have a proactive attitude. The unit performs a variety of ultrasound exams, including OB/Gyn exams, neonatal heads, and general exams for adults, pediatrics, and neonates. Qualified candidates should have experience with specific ultrasound equipment. The ideal candidate will be friendly and energetic. Please note that there are specific guidelines regarding personal appearance in the workplace. Candidates will be expected to work weekends and may need to cover holidays. A successful applicant must adhere to the unit's policies and dress code.
