Job Overview

AMMON Healthcare is recruiting PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to fill immediate shifts at a variety of healthcare facilities. Choose shifts that fit your schedule-days or nights, weekdays or weekends. Assignments may include Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation, and more.

Shift Options: 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (days and nights available)
Overtime: Yes (if applicable)

Screening Requirements: Drug Screen; Background Check
Experience Required: 1+ year in long-term care and/or behavioral health settings
Start: Immediate Shifts Available (Start ASAP)
Physical Requirements: Standing/walking for extended periods; lifting/assisting patients as needed; clinical environment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care within LPN scope of practice and facility policies
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and permitted by policy
Monitor patient/resident condition and report changes to RN/physician as appropriate
Support admissions, discharges, and routine documentation as required
Maintain patient safety, dignity, confidentiality, and infection-control standards
Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient care

Requirements

1+ year of nursing experience in long-term care and/or behavioral health settings
Unencumbered Louisiana LPN license
Active BLS certification
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Must pass a drug screen and background check
