On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.ResponsibilitiesGenerate monthly safety meeting presentation from Air Liquide templateOwn weekly near miss meeting and any safety champion calls/trainingPlan and assign out JSAs, inspections and submarine drills.Report SAS safety requirementsManage safety near misses and action items to closureMaintain accurate and up to date JHAs and PPE matrixInvestigate any safety issues and manage action items to closurePerform ergonomic assessmentsTrain new employees on both quality and safety cultureTrain new hires on overall lab safety, evacuation routes, and how to report safety issues.Manage and sustain 17025 accreditationManage SOPs and any training associated with changes to the SOPsTrend data to ensure lab is reporting quality data and report against KPIs quarterly to customerTrend BECs, LCS, Instrument tuning parameters, QC samples, etc.Maintain lab databases and data templatesProvide support to LIMS administrator on any needed LIMS updates/fixesManage quality near misses and action items to closureInvestigate any quality issues or environmental change points, e.g. new hood qualifications, moving the pc between labs, etc.Act as subject matter expert for safety and quality for all active projectsPerform support and training on spaghetti diagramsPresent status of safety and quality KPIs weekly to customerImplement and validate database updates and revisionsImplement and validate data template updates and revisionsRequired QualificationsBS in Chemistry or equivalent combination of experience and education5+ years experience with GC-MS, ICP-OES, GFAA, ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, Auto-Titration, pH, Viscosity, Specific Gravity, and other Wet Methods sample analysis in a production environment preferred.Experience in the Semiconductor Industry.Experience with implementing, performing, and/or monitoring Laboratory QA/QC.Must be knowledge of chemical analyses and processes.Good computer skills required (scientific instrument software, Word, Excel)Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills.Must have initiative and be self-motivated.Good organization skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the semiconductor industryExperience in the industrial gas industry
