Description Leidos is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Network and Mission Operations Manager to lead and unify mission operations, the Network Integrated Operations Center (NIOC), and Enterprise Systems Support (ESS) in support of NASA's AEGIS program. This pivotal role is responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving real-time mission, network, and enterprise systems operations, ensuring seamless coordination across all operational areas and IT infrastructure. The Integrated Operations Manager will guide a cross-functional team of engineers, operators, and tools personnel, ensuring high availability, operational resilience, and mission success across critical communications and IT systems. This position is key in implementing an enterprise operations model that aligns mission execution with network operations and enables platforms—standardizing processes across Incident, Problem, Change, and Availability Management. Key Responsibilities Mission, NIOC & Enterprise Systems Integration : Lead and integrate mission operations and ESS to ensure unified execution and situational awareness. Oversee real‑time mission support, including communications, network performance, and anomaly response. Coordinate mission timelines, network readiness, and critical system performance. Operational Leadership Direct daily operations across mission environments, ensuring service availability and reliability. Act as the senior escalation point for priority incidents and mission‑impacting events. Establish operational readiness standards across all platforms. Service Management & Operational Governance Design and enhance Incident, Problem, Change, and Availability Management processes. Lead RCCA efforts, addressing infrastructure issues with sustainable solutions. Chair the Failure Review Board (FRB) to evaluate incidents and trends. Oversee standardized documentation and closure of corrective actions. Feed lessons learned back into operations for continuous improvement. ESS / Tools Ownership Manage the ESS team responsible for monitoring and analytics platforms. Ensure tools deliver visibility and actionable insights for proactive response. Drive tool integration to enhance event management and efficiency. Oversee the optimization and upgrade of platforms. Enterprise Operations Strategy Support the development of enterprise operations models that align with NASA objectives. Facilitate integration between operations and enabling platforms (ESS) for mission readiness. Collaborate with Engineering to include operational requirements in system design. Eliminate silos by integrating operations across various systems. Stakeholder Coordination Work with NASA stakeholders and service providers to ensure operational consistency. Provide executive‑level reports on operational status and risks. Financial Management & AOP Execution Manage financial performance and execution across operations. Develop labor forecasts aligned to service demand. Monitor financial performance, addressing discrepancies and opportunities. Drive cost optimization through automation and process improvements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 12+ years). 8+ years in leadership roles in mission‑critical environments. Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Experience in real‑time operations and network operation centers. Strong background in IT operations and enterprise systems/tools. Experience managing Incident, Problem, Change, and Availability processes. Proven track record in major incident response and RCCA efforts. Ability to drive automation and efficiency in operations. Financial acumen in operational cost management and forecasting. Strong communication skills for engaging technical and executive teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NASA or similar mission‑critical environments. Familiarity with mission operations centers and communications systems. Hands‑on experience with monitoring and automation platforms. Experience leading FRB, RCCA, and FACAR processes. Demonstrated operational transformation skills.
