Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a school paraprofessional or similar support role is highly valued
• Ability to assist students across elementary and middle school grade levels (K-8)
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers and other staff to support student learning
• Proactive in adapting to various classroom settings and student needs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaged 1:1 and general classroom support to students with mild/moderate needs
• Assist with implementing instructional activities under the guidance of the classroom teacher
• Offer positive behavioral support and encourage student participation
• Support students with assignments, organization, and social skills development
• Safeguard the well-being of all students and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment
• Participate in relevant meetings and communicate regularly with teaching teams

Position Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, following the school schedule
