CDL Shuttle Driver

The CDL Shuttle Driver transports passengers to and from designated locations within the UPS World Port facility. This position requires operating a 40-passenger shuttle bus in a secure, high-traffic environment that includes other moving vehicles and aircraft.

This position pays from $23 an hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

Transport passengers to designated pick-up and drop-off locations Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs (i.e. wheelchair lifts and tie-downs) Inspect shuttle for preexisting damage and record information using electronic device or manual ticket Provide excellent customer service to guests Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinates bus evacuation activities as appropriate Immediately reports any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead Refuel vehicle Maintain a clean work environment, disinfecting shuttle after each use Performs pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid CDL - Class A or Class B
• Must have a Passenger Endorsement
• Must have Air Brake Endorsements
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• One (1) year of prior work experience as a CDL Driver is required
