Senior Personal Lines Account Manager

Senior Account ManagerChoice Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Account Manager to join our growing Personal Lines team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance clients, delivering exceptional customer service, and serving as a trusted advisor for coverage and policy needs.The ideal candidate will bring strong personal lines insurance expertise, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while helping drive client retention and satisfaction.What You'll DoServe as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal lines clients.Conduct policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverage solutions based on client needs.Process new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and cancellations.Partner with insurance carriers and clients to support the claims process and provide ongoing guidance.Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts through consultative conversations.Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems.Assist with training and mentoring junior account managers and new team members.Stay current on industry trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory requirements.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsActive Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance account management.Strong knowledge of personal lines products, including homeowners, auto, renters, and umbrella coverage.Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-management skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency with insurance agency management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field.Experience managing complex or high-value personal lines accounts.Previous mentoring or leadership experience within an insurance agency environment.Why Join CIA?At CIA, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
