At Children's Village, we believe in interdisciplinary care and work collaboratively with numerous clinical partners, including:Speech TherapyOccupational TherapyPhysical TherapyApplied Behavioral AnalysisEarly Intervention/ESITBehavioral Assessment/Treatment TeamPosition Highlights:$22.36 - $25.11 DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidatesThis position is eligible for Bilingual Differential Compensation when an ALTA score of 9 is achieved100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, and 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!What You'll Do:Complete intake assessment, develop individualized program exemplars, and participate in the collection of data for a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)/Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA)Collect target behavior data, implement Behavior Reduction Protocols, and implement alternative behavior programs based on the FBAImplement individualized programs to maintain and generalize acquired skills, provide appropriate interventions, and respond to aggressive and/or challenging behaviorsParticipate in meetings to develop cross-system planning and/or collaborate with treatment professionalsCollaborate with other Certified Behavior Technicians to improve individual servicesComplete all Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and/or funder?required documentationPerform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirementsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) requiredAssociate Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, or other relevant field preferredExperience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities preferredApplication for Certified Behavior Technician within one week of completing 40 hours of required supervision/training by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/LBABasic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hireRight Response certified within six months of hireFederal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprints required can be obtained within 45 days of hireBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at a level 9Ability to do data collection and graphingAbility to engage with parents and/or teachers to implement behavior intervention protocols under the supervision of an LBAAbility to effectively interact with a variety of patients, patients' families and employees in a professional mannerKnowledge of cultural differences and ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced conflict resolution and de-escalation skillsAbility to manage stressful situationsAbility to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretionStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyOur Mission Statement"Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being."Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
