Location: Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Hospitality / Hotel Environment Pay: Starting at $21+/hour (DOE)

Overview

We are partnering with a well-established hotel seeking a highly engaging, customer-focused Front Desk Associate to serve as the face of the guest experience. This is an evaluation hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys interacting with people, and can create a welcoming, seamless experience for every guest from check-in to check-out. You are the first and last impression—how you show up matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, professional, and engaging demeanor upon arrival
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with a solution-oriented mindset
• Answer and direct incoming calls while providing exceptional customer service
• Coordinate reservations and update guest information in hotel systems
• Process payments, verify billing details, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
• Deliver a high-level guest experience that reflects the hotel's standards

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills must be highly engaging and guest-focused
• Previous hotel or front desk experience preferred (but not required for the right attitude)
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and morning/afternoon shifts
