PRN EchocardiographerPerforms echocardiograms on adults in outpatient setting.Education: GED or High School Diploma.Registered Diagnostic Cardiac SonographerSkills/Experience:Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.Excellent interpersonal skills and customer/patient service, problem solving, time management and organizational skill, be a team player, excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette.Ability to recognize life-threatening findings and notify physicians.Ability to calculate test results.Uses good body mechanics.Maintain patient confidentiality.Serves as patient advocate.Good organizational skills basic computer data entryRequired License/Certification:BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationCCI or ARDMS required within one (1) year of hire or transfer date.
