Business Analyst-Entry Level
Apex Informatics
Responsibilities:
- Check reporting results and flag potential issues: Review reports for accuracy and identify any anomalies or discrepancies.
- Create dashboards, spreadsheet analysis, and presentations: Support regional analysts by preparing visual data representations and reports.
- Troubleshoot data issues: Validate data from various sources to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Analyze business performance trends: Identify patterns and trends in business data to uncover growth opportunities.
- Education: BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, economics, industrial engineering, statistics, or math.
- Experience: At least 1 year of work experience in tech, finance, or accounting.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SQL: Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data analysis.
- Fluency in MS Excel: Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with statistical programming: Familiarity with R, Python, or similar languages for data analysis and visualization.
