Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Tote Room Assembler to support tote assembly and processing operations. The Tote Room Assembler will assist with tote assembly, monitor tote fill stations, ensure proper labeling and storage, and safely operate equipment used to move and position pallets and totes. This position is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, follows procedures carefully, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tote assembly as needed to support daily production and processing requirements.
• Monitor tote fill stations to ensure the correct labels and tags are being used.
• Verify totes are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure totes are stored properly before the fill process begins.
• Keep plastic covers and shrouds securely placed over totes until the filling process starts.
• Operate the Cherry Inverter (tilt) machine safely and according to established procedures.
• Load and unload pallets using proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tote room and work area.
• Communicate any labeling, equipment, processing, or storage issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow instructions and production procedures to help maintain an efficient workflow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking labels, tags, and tote storage.
• Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload materials as required.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate the Cherry Inverter and other equipment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and supervisor directions.
• Previous warehouse, production, assembly, or material-handling experience is a plus but not required.
