Associate Partner - Commercial Valuations

At Carter Jonas we're seeking an Associate Partner to work within Commercial Valuations. Working as part of the established Commercial Valuations team in Bristol, you will play a key role in growing our specialist valuation offering, developing client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the team.Our clients include leading lending institutions, local authorities, developers, public sector organisations, educational establishments, accountants and solicitors. We provide valuation advice across a broad range of commercial, residential and specialist property sectors. The specific role is within our specialist valuation team.Our benefits:We are proud to offer a wonderful working culture, a competitive salary and good annual leave offering, coupled with meaningful flexible benefits including salary sacrifice Electric car scheme, holiday purchase of up to 5 extra days, health cash plans, hybrid working, cycle-to-work scheme etc.Working within a Partnership is something truly special, offering a level of collaboration, shared success, and long-term commitment that sets it apart from more traditional corporate structures.What You'll Be DoingYou will:Work within the existing valuation team in Bristol, providing high-quality specialist valuation reports for a range of purposes.Helping to grow our national specialist valuation offering in areas such as healthcare, education, PBSA and other trading valuations.Contribution to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities across the commercial valuation sector.Assist in the delivery of major projects.Financial and client reporting; ample client contact.Delivery of valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.Participation in the ongoing development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan developed in-line with the Carter Jonas vision.Take an active role in the development and implementation of efficient, ‘best practice’ internal systems and processes, optimising IT and other resources.Essential Experience & SkillsMRICS/FRICS. RICS Registered Valuer. Good working knowledge of relevant legislation.Adheres to the RICS Rules of Conduct or relevant professional body where appropriate.Experience of delivering and managing multiple projects.Competent with MS Office.Full UK driving licence.KEL or ARGUS Enterprise experience.Desirables:Experienced in valuing a range of specialist asset types.Industry contacts.CompetenciesA business development-orientated attitude, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.Actively seeks out continuous self-development, broadening knowledge and experience.Ability to seek out new opportunities for the team as well as referrals across divisions.Strong communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.The TeamYou would be joining a fantastic partner led team of six valuers within the Bristol office, covering residential, commercial and specialist sectors.
