Job Summary:

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist located in Austin, Texas. This position involves performing cardiovascular invasive procedures as part of the Cath Lab team. Candidates are required to bring their professional license on the first day of work. The role is scheduled for dayshift and requires adherence to all facility policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas


• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Certification in Cardiovascular Technology or related field; valid license; no years of minimum experience required; must be located in Texas or willing to relocate; candidates without ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications will not be considered.


• Preferred Qualifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification is a plus.


• Additional Information: This is a 13-week contract position on a cardiovascular invasive unit with a team of 10 staff members, including registered nurses and cardiovascular technologists. Call requirements include on-call hours from 1500 to 0630 and weekends. The unit performs procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral procedures, pacemaker, and defibrillator implants. The unit emphasizes team collaboration and maintains a professional dress code with scrub color in ceiling blue.
