Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the NICU, working within a Level II Special Care Nursery providing care for babies 32 weeks and above, including those on CPAP and high flow oxygen. Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required, with Level 2 NICU experience essential and Level 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients within the Special Care Nursery.
• Attend and manage high-risk deliveries alongside the charge nurse.
• Float to sister hospital's NICU as needed.

Requirements

• NRP and BLS certification required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience; Level 2 experience required, Level 3 experience preferred.
• A pass/fail Sim Lab on foley catheter insertion is required on Day 1 of orientation.
