Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages roughly $101billion across a diversified set of businesses, delivering absolute return, multi‑strategy, total portfolio management, and public real assets solutions. Job Summary The TPM Business Operations VP partners closely with TPM’s Global COO to run day‑to‑day operations and lead high‑impact initiatives that support the TPM platform and its clients. The role sits at the center of TPM and interfaces regularly with Investment teams and key internal functions such as Accounting, Operations, Reporting, Technology, Tax, Compliance, and Legal. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day Global COO Support: Oversee daily operating tasks, manage business requests, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of key deliverables and initiatives. New Client Onboarding & Portfolio Launches: Build work plans, track milestones, and ensure operational readiness across Investments and key internal partners; serve as reliable point of contact for clients during onboarding. Ongoing Client Operational Requests: Act as the primary operational point of contact for client teams, working with internal partners to address requests and provide timely, transparent updates. Strategy and Business Enhancements: Institutionalize and modernize the operating model—streamlining and automating workflows, strengthening execution discipline, and enhancing collaboration across teams. Engage with Technology, Investment teams, and internal partners to prioritize enhancements, define requirements, and support implementation. Materials & Content Creation: Partner with the Global COO to create best‑in‑class materials for internal stakeholders, including executive decks and business updates; collaborate with the client materials team to provide polished, consistent content for client‑facing deliverables. Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, business operations, or a comparable operational/analytical role. Working knowledge of finance, capital markets, and investment strategies used by alternative asset managers. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, capable of producing polished, accurate, leadership‑ready materials. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex information into clear, concise outputs for senior stakeholders. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Resourceful self‑starter with strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, solution‑oriented approach. High professional integrity and strong interpersonal skills with comfort partnering across teams and with senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree required. Compensation and Benefits Expected annual base salary range: $185,000 – $200,000. Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA), paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) plan, discretionary bonuses, and potential equity and incentive compensation at Blackstone’s discretion. Licensing Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client‑facing role or engaged in activities such as client meetings, marketing Blackstone funds, supervising licensed employees, structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products, or advising on marketing plans.
