Protean Med is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an exciting locum opportunity in Virginia, covering Mechanicsville, Midlothian, and Richmond locations.

Position Highlights:

• Practice Setting: Office and inpatient coverage
• Facility: Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center
• Support: NP, sonographer, genetic counselor, RN educator, and full office staff
• EMR: EPIC and Viewpoint
• Patient Volume: Average 27 patients per day
• Coverage Reason: Support during recruitment period
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Open Coverage Dates:

• May 8 May 15
• May 16 May 22
• May 26 May 31

Clinical Scope:

• High-risk pregnancy management (95% high-risk cases)
• Amniocentesis and Chorionic Villus Sampling
• Multiple gestation and genetic disorder management
• Growth restriction and congenital abnormalities
• Pre-term labor and hypertensive disorders
• Cesarean and vaginal deliveries
• Cerclage (preferred)

Requirements:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active Virginia medical license
• BLS certification required
• AIUM certification preferred
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required
