We are looking for a Recovery Behavioral Health Technician who will work closely with clients to determine their rehabilitation needs and to provide individualized treatment by providing structured as well as holistic healing. Supports clients with foundational well‑being that develops the skills needed to overcome, heal & grow to sustain long‑term sobriety. The Recovery Behavioral Health Technician acts as a representative of Epiphany Wellness. BHT’s observe all client activity and maintain visible presence of the clients at all times. BHT’s maintain excellent reporting skills on client whereabouts, any and all issues that arise and basic needs while on shift. BHT’s are responsible for making sure clients are attending their clinical hours and getting the help they need to obtain long‑term sobriety. Schedule: OPEN 1st, 2nd & Overnight shifts available. FLEXIBLE Swing shift available. What will your day look like? You will: Maintain a safe therapeutic environment for clients at all times. Maintain daily/weekly structure and schedule for clients as outlined in client schedule. Observe client medication that is considered a controlled substance. Ensure clients are filling out self‑observation sheets for medication. Complete rounds at the beginning, throughout, and at the end of shift. When clients are placed on Q30 rounds, complete them accordingly with appropriate documentation. During overnight, perform hourly rounds unless otherwise specified for high‑risk clients; document all rounds in BHT chat. Transport clients to and from appointments, clinical services, employment if applicable, and other outside activities while following Epiphany’s driving policy. Perform urinalysis as assigned, read 12‑panel results, report and record appropriate documentation, and communicate to supervisor. Perform breathalyzers on clients as assigned and report any results over 0.00 to on‑call supervisor. Report and complete shift notes for each shift. Follow chain of command at all times and be aware of when and how to report any issues on shift, including but not limited to facilities, clients, and other staff. Build positive relationships with clients and staff. Utilize BHT chat when on shift for communication with other staff and supervisor. Demonstrate flexibility in BHT scheduling (coverage can be needed at any time). Handle client schedule changes, last‑minute intakes, behavioral issues, etc. Search client belongings upon intake, vehicles, and rooms as assigned by BHT Supervisor. Report suicidal ideation and homicidal ideations of any patients. Complete client intakes following all steps as outlined intake protocol. Provide crisis intervention, including but not limited to client altercation (verbal or physical), relapse, behavioral issues. Assist with AMA blocking as needed. Facilitate client rules and responsibilities, and report non‑compliance to supervisor. What you will need for this position: Minimum of one (1) year in the Recovery/Substance Abuse field (preferred). Working knowledge of 12‑Step Program, AA or NA (preferred). High School Diploma or GED. CPR Certified (preferred). Standard First Aid Certification (preferred).
