Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment, circuit boards, DC motors, and drive packages. You will be working with industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain 480V 3 Phase on industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines.
• Handle all secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders.
• Regularly inspect and document the condition of electrical equipment including cranes, motors, generators, control panels, switches, and circuit panels.
• Use electrical test equipment, drawings, blueprints, and schematics to install new equipment or diagnose issues with inoperative equipment.
• Possess Arc Flash Experience.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality control teams during emergency breakdowns to restore operations.
• Perform maintenance on forklifts, including changing wheels, greasing parts, and adjusting forks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Assist in machine installation or relocation within the plant.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Steady job tenure.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Troubleshoot 480V 3 Phase on industrial equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 25ft, including on overhead cranes.
• Must provide own tools; specialty tools will be provided.

Work Environment

The position offers a competitive pay rate with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Expect a full-time schedule with potential for overtime, working 5 to 6 days a week and over 60 hours weekly. Overtime is compensated at 1.5x after 8 hours daily and all day on Saturdays, with double time after 12 hours daily or on the 7th day of work. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $78666.00 - $78666.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
