Production OperatorHot JobUMATILLA, OR 97882 Start Date 08/19/2026 End Date 09/30/2026DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilities:Learn and maintain all documentation required and barcode system for production reportingMust prepare to pass the Job Certification Test for level "B" in 90 days from the date of last level change.Maintain operation of multiple lines, including loading gaskets and packaging end product for shipmentPrepare packaging materialsVisually inspect product for quality control purposesMeasure and record pipe dimensions as directedMake adjustments on bellers and printing equipment as neededMove bundled pipe from work area, (scrap and good product)Assist in production line start-up activities and changeovers.Cut and band scrap as directedReport any equipment malfunctions, product defects or unsafe conditions immediatelyWork as a team with other personnel.Operate a forklift truck safely and inspect fork trucks as instructed.This job description outlines the principal duties and in no way states or implies these are the only duties to be performed in this position.Must Be Legally Authorized To Work In The United StatesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups (employees or customers).Mathematical SkillsHave ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Safety/Total Housekeeping Management (THM)Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
