Research Scientist – Cell Biology & Genomics
\nLocation: Ridgefield, CT.
\n \nWe are looking for a hands-on Research Scientist to support discovery programs focused on Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic (CVRM) diseases .
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Perform mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays \n
- Execute NGS workflows , including bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, and snRNA-seq \n
- Support tissue/cell/nuclei dissociation and library preparation \n
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory automation platforms \n
- Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and Western blotting \n
- Maintain accurate sample tracking and experimental documentation \n
- Collaborate across cell biology, genomics, automation, and bioinformatics \n
Ideal Background:
\n✔️ Strong mammalian cell culture experience
\n✔️ Hands-on NGS experience
\n✔️ Exposure to laboratory automation/high-throughput workflows
\n✔️ Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
\n⭐ iPSC, kidney organoid, or sequencing instrument experience is a plus
\n \nEducation: BS + 7 years, MS + 3 years, or equivalent experience.
