Senior Pricing Analyst

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing and analyzing pricing strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Operations to evaluate pricing trends, customer behavior, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities that inform strategic pricing decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with commercial acumen and experience leveraging data, financial analysis, and business intelligence tools to deliver actionable pricing insights, improve decision-making, and drive measurable business results. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid work environment Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic pricing initiatives designed to maximize revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen market competitiveness across products, customer segments, and sales channels. Analyze pricing performance, customer buying patterns, product mix, discounting, promotional activity, and margin trends to uncover opportunities for revenue and margin improvement. Conduct market and competitive pricing analysis, monitoring industry dynamics, competitor pricing, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to evaluate pricing programs, customer agreements, product launches, and new commercial opportunities. Build robust financial models and conduct scenario, sensitivity, and price elasticity analyses to evaluate pricing strategies, customer segmentation, and revenue optimization opportunities. Create executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and pricing analytics that deliver clear, actionable insights and support data-driven business decisions. Utilize business intelligence platforms, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance reporting, streamline processes, and improve pricing effectiveness. Translate complex analytical findings into concise business recommendations and effectively communicate insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance pricing methodologies, analytical capabilities, reporting processes, and decision-making through technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in Pricing Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management, FP&A, Business Intelligence, or a comparable analytical function. Demonstrated success in developing pricing strategies and conducting financial and commercial analyses that drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance. Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling capabilities, with experience working with large and complex data sets, customer behavior, pricing trends, and business performance metrics. Proven ability to work effectively across functions, partnering with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or comparable tools. Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and cloud-based data environments is preferred. Exposure to pricing optimization solutions, competitive intelligence platforms, and AI-powered analytics tools is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling insights and influence business decisions.
