GENERAL ENGINEER

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE), if applying for the Professional Engineering (0801) series, OR as a Registered Architect (RA), if applying for Professional Architect series (0808). Your registration must be in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S. NOTE: You must include a copy of your license with your application, or you will be rated ineligible. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Applying principles, concepts, and theories of advanced engineering/architectural methods and techniques to serve as lead engineer/architect in a quality assurance environment for construction projects; 2) Serving as lead engineer/architect in the full range of construction projects that involve various types of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and regulations governing Federal contract administration; 3) Providing expert construction engineering and management advisory services to activities and tenants served by a Command.
