Additional $1.80/hour shift premium for nights.What you'll do on a typical day:Move trailers throughout the propertyUse appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forkliftEfficiently load freight a minimum of 1 day per weekOperate a hostler in all types of weather; safely walk and stand for extended periodsSafely operate heavy equipment, including moving, positioning and connecting/disconnecting a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.Work in a safe, efficient manner while adhering to company safety policiesUse mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipmentsDockworker (Hostler)s are required to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionallyReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelWalk and stand for extended periods on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may be slipperyAbout XPO:XPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
