Industrial Glass Bead Blast Technician

Job Description

JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Operate and maintain sand blasting equipment (Tumbler, Blast Cabinet, and Walk in Blast Booth).

- Perform various metal finishing techniques (grinding and sanding)..

- Safely operate a forklift upon completion of company training program.

- Comply with Equipment & Supply, Inc. Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.

- Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area daily and/or when required.

- Other various tasks as assigned.

- Willingness to work overtime as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be comfortable with operating pneumatic and electric hand tools.

- Willing to learn and be flexible by completing various types of projects.

- Must have good hand-eye coordination and an eye for detail to ensure quality and proper finish of products.

- Some heavy lifting required

- Some knowledge or past experience working in metal fabrication is a plus.

Well established, local, privately owned company founded in 1972. The company has been providing exceptional products and services to the military and commercial aerospace industry for over 50 years. We are located in Monroe, North Carolina (20 miles from downtown Charlotte, NC). AS9100 D & ISO9001-2015 certified. Scheduled work hours 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
