Senior Risk Underwriter - Americas

The Company A fast-growing global fintech reshaping B2B credit insurance, licensed to underwrite across 32 countries. Offices in London, Dallas, and New York (~50 people).The Role A senior underwriting hire with dual reporting to the Group VP of Risk Underwriting and MD of Americas. You'll lead risk evaluation across new and existing transactions - multi-buyer programmes, select risk pools, and single obligor solutions - while contributing to renewals, product development, and cross-functional initiatives spanning commercial, operations, technology, and risk.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently underwrite and monitor new and existing risks; identify emerging trends and recommend actionsReport underwriting metrics and present transactions to the Underwriting CommitteeContribute underwriting expertise to product and technology initiatives from the outsetSupport data quality, workflow improvements, and business development prioritiesWhat They're Looking ForProven risk underwriting experience, ideally in trade credit insuranceStrong written communication skills; able to produce clear analysis papers and capacity justificationsComfortable across international jurisdictions and complex deal structuresCollaborative, with cross-functional experience a plusBenefits Competitive salary · Share options · Private healthcare & pension · 25 days' holiday · $140 annual physical challenge allowance · L&D supportVisit the IDEX Consulting Ltd website for further opportunities.
