Homes - Martin County - $4,500 Sign On Bonus!M-F 8am - 4:30pmThe RN is responsible for the planning and delivery of patient care, providing skilled nursing care and oversight in accordance with policies and the Florida Nurse Practice Act, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. To provide a combination of skilled professional nursing tasks and provide palliative and supportive care to the patient and family unit.QualificationsCurrent and active Florida RN license.Must be Certified Hospice and Palliative Registered Nurse (CHPN) within 12 months.Current and valid Florida driver's license and automobile insurance.Current CPR certification required.Minimum of one year preferred RN experience where physical assessment skills were utilized.Prior experience in oncology, home health, hospice or palliative care setting is preferred.Must be able to handle sensitive issues appropriately using sound judgment, maintain professional boundaries, and maintain confidentiality.Must be able to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.Must be self-directed and able to work independently in the field.Basic computer skills and EMR software experience preferred.Attendance is a condition of employment.ExpectationsProvide program development strategies for Treasure Coast Hospice, in an organized, routine capacity that will enable the cohesion of team developments.
