Your Role and Contributions

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic tests, and establish personalized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (depending on your credentials)
• Educate patients and their families about health prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within your legal scope
• Engage in follow-up care and chronic care management initiatives
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to guarantee integrated, holistic patient care
• Accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner registration in the state of Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to acquire within a 90-day timeframe)
