A reputable healthcare system in western Pennsylvania is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for an ongoing onsite locum tenens assignment at a well-established medical center in the greater Johnstown area, PA . This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a consistent weekday schedule, diverse case mix, procedural work, and premium compensation.

Position Highlights

Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology
Setting: Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
No Call
No Weekends
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Ongoing Assignment

Clinical Responsibilities

Interpret a broad range of studies including:

X-Ray
CT
MRI
Ultrasound
Nuclear Medicine
Fluoroscopy
Diagnostic Mammography

Diverse Case Mix

Emergency Radiology
Musculoskeletal Imaging
Neuroradiology
Nuclear Medicine
Pediatrics
Fluoroscopy
Mammography Procedures

Light Interventional Procedures

Candidates should be comfortable performing:

Thyroid Biopsies
Bone, Lung, Liver, and Renal Biopsies
CT-Guided Procedures
Ultrasound-Guided Procedures
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Abscess Drainages
Chest Tube Placements
Lumbar Punctures
Myelograms
Epidural Procedures
Arthrograms
Joint Injections (Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Elbow, and Ankle)

Practice Environment

Daily Volume: Approximately 90-100 studies per shift
Expected Productivity: 60-70 wRVUs per day
EMR: Epic
PACS: Merge
Dictation: Fluency

Requirements

Board Certified in Radiology
Active Pennsylvania Medical License
Active DEA Registration
Current NPDB Self-Query Report (dated within 30 days of offer)
