School Bus Driver

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. We share the yard with the high school bus service. We transport 2,500 home to school, mid-day, and therapy runs. The fleet consists of over 30 buses, 2 cars and 3 van routes. We encompass the town of Fallbrook and two schools on the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.

Drives a school bus or transportation vehicle over an assigned route in accordance with a time schedule. Boards and discharges student passengers. Transports students, staff and chaperones on field trips, athletic activities and other special trips. Enforces District Policies and procedures related to transportation and maintains discipline on buses.

• Requirements for applying: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; a work history demonstrating dependability and reliability; good driving record; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities; and the ability to qualify for District vehicle insurance.
• Required license/certificate: Possession of a valid California Driver's License, Class B; California School Bus Driver's Certificate, current Medical Certificate (MEC), DMV Printout (Current H-6)
