Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR- Operating Room

• Provide preoperative care within an acute surgical center
• Handle all procedures, including same day and overnight stays
• Utilize IV skills and surgical care knowledge, including robotics
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and on-call schedule
• Float to the OR holding area as needed

Requirements of the RN - OR- Operating Room

• BLS Certification
• Valid RN license in the appropriate state
• Strong understanding of surgical care and preoperative processes
• Proficiency with IV skills
• Experience with Sunrise and EPIC EMR systems
