Production Assistant

Location: Hybrid – 4 Days Work From Home, 1 Day In-Person (Detroit, MI) Hours: 40 Hours/Week (M-F 9am-5pm) Compensation: Starting at $1,600 Bi-Weekly Pay Reviews: 30-Day Performance Review, 60-Day Raise Review MAYS Multimedia & Valley Publishing Group are seeking a Production Assistant to support order processing, client communication, and production coordination. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage client interactions and production timelines. Responsibilities Order Processing & Client Communication Acknowledge and process incoming orders via email or website. Review client requests and create detailed job descriptions. Communicate with clients via phone and email to confirm details and clarify requirements. Prepare and send invoices, ensuring accuracy before submission. Follow up on pending payments and unanswered client emails. Production Coordination & Artwork Management Coordinate with printers to track orders, confirm deadlines, and ensure timely production. Retrieve and organize old artwork files for reprints, confirming details with clients. Prepare and send finalized artwork files to printers, ensuring compliance with production specifications. Maintain organized project files for seamless design team collaboration. Coordinate project timelines with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines. Client Relations & Billing Follow up with clients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Maintain and update client records, including order details, artwork files, and payment information. Process payments, document transactions, and update billing records accordingly. Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively. Experience in customer service, order processing, or production coordination is a plus. Familiarity with print production processes is a bonus but not required.
