Engineering Tech II, Full Time, Sunday - Wednesday

Job Title

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have Arkansas HPBL, or the ability to obtain.

Training and Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred. Has skilled knowledge of plumbing, electricity, construction (carpentry), pneumatics and HVAC equipment and systems.

Job Knowledge: Has ability to read and interpret blue prints.

Description: Has the ability to perform the following tasks, but not limited to these:

• All phases of general maintenance work (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Ability to communicate (oral and written).
• Act as a security guard as needed.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to assume rotating shifts after initial orientation period.
• Ability to take oral and written instruction.
• Self-starter.

Physical/Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
