Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes in the Poway area.

If you genuinely enjoy helping others and take pride in providing quality care, this could be a great opportunity for you. Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients maintain their dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.

You will assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errands, and other needs based on their individual care plans.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team
• Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence at all times

• Respectful, gentle, and attentive to client needs
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Strong in communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and professionally
• Flexible and adaptable to different clients and home environments
• Willing to travel 30+ minutes to work when needed

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience is required
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance
