Role: Teradata Database Administrator Experience: 8+ years Rate - C2C 80-90/Hr. Location - Sacramento, CA Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Teradata databases and related infrastructure Monitor system performance, query optimization, and workload management (TASM/TIWM) Manage space, user access, roles, and security profiles Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations (ARC/BAR) Collaborate with developers and data teams to tune SQL and data models Handle database upgrades, patching, and migrations Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability Required Skills: Strong expertise in Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT Experience with Teradata utilities: ViewPoint, Teradata Studio, TDCH Knowledge of Teradata architecture (nodes, AMPs, PEs, parsing engines) Familiarity with Unix/Linux and scripting (Shell/Python) Understanding of ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts Good to Have: Teradata Vantage experience Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with Teradata on cloud ITIL / ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira) Medicaid knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
