About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Perioperative Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 PM to 07:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years. License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Support Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: 1 year of recent experience in the PACU or critical care environment. Description: This position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are required. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Procedural Sedation competency is preferred. Minimum of two years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in a PACU environment, is preferred. Minimum of two years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in an emergency room, intensive care unit, or PACU environment, is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience providing procedural sedation in an outpatient setting is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in pain management injection procedures is preferred.
