As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic testsCollaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditionsAdminister medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessaryConduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic proceduresEducate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherenceProvide counseling and emotional support to patients and their familiesMedication Management: NPs/PAs ensure residents receive the appropriate medications, monitor for side effects, and adjust dosages as needed.
