Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Stroke Certification, CPI, Advanced Dysrhythmia Interpretation EKG Test Must-Have: - Valid RN State License - Drug Screen - Background Check - COVID-19 Vaccine - Influenza Vaccine - Additional Health Requirements Description: The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs and developing care plans. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will administer medications and monitor patient responses. Maintaining patient safety and advocating for patient welfare is essential. Documentation of patient care and maintaining accurate records is required. The nurse will participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary for this role. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet unit needs.
